Knowing When to Invest

We see it all the time on Pinterest or in movies, “You only get one life.” It may sound cheesy but they’re pretty much on point. Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, you’re here now, living your life as it is in the present. So, let us ask you this..

Have you ever felt uninspired by your work? Do you feel unchallenged and unmotivated  in what you do day-to-day? Do you feel this pull to take a leap and evolve with other professionals in your industry? Or do you intuitively deep down want to be the best you can be, living excited for the positive impact you’ll make on the world? If you’re quietly thinking “YES” to any of these, it may be time to invest in yourself, your business and your future.

Learning to invest in yourself may be the most profitable investment you will ever make. Today I will help you identify what to do when  you know it’s time to make some moves and upgrade your life.

Whether you’re a healer, student or simply someone who wants to live their best, most fulfilled life, in order to achieve it all, you must place a priority on investing in both personal and professional growth. And it’s the effort you put in to consistently investing in yourself that plays a larger role in determining the quality of your life. Now and in the future.

If you’re feeling like it’s time to make a change whether to grow personally or professionally, here are a few places to start:

1. Developing Your Skills

We don’t necessarily mean you need to invest in higher education, though that’s definitely an option, investing in your knowledge and skills can take many forms such as courses, events, webinars, conferences. They can be within your realm of business or maybe it’s a theme or idea you’re interested in and feels kismet. It’s all about upgrading your life!

2. Exploring Your Creative Side

Creativity in any form helps us to grow personally and professionally. It allows us to view problems and solutions in different ways and even use different parts of our mind that aren’t typically utilized. Examples of exploring your creativity could be: learning a new language, try a cooking class, write a short story or poem, enjoy music, or even painting/pottery (something tangible.) You may just love it and it could be the thing to help you unlock the blockage you were having about your career or life and give you that inspiration for your next step!

3. Nurturing Your Mind and Body

Nurturing both your mind and body allows you to have a fuller cup. You know the saying, “You can’t pour from an empty cup!” Your goal is to have more energy, knowledge, compassion, ideas, strength, and physical and mental endurance.

When you decide to invest in yourself, also decide to care for your body. Almost like an expensive car. Overall, remember to:

Be giving your body high-quality fuel - make healthy food choices as often as possible, be around good people, fill your tank with the best.

Be sure to rest and relax often - don’t overload your system.

Put it in your calendar to get regular maintenance - go to the mechanic (healer) when you’re sick; don’t put it off until you totally break down, get your monthly massages and treatments from your healers, take appropriate vitamins.

Don’t be afraid to polish your exterior - yes, your clothes to make you feel confident and attractive, a new hairstyle to make you feel powerful, anything that can act as a tool for you to upgrade your life.

Investing in yourself - especially when there’s a monetary value tied to it - acts as a tool for you to stay determined and hold yourself accountable. Your future is in large part determined by your willingness and ability to invest in yourself now.
